Zoraida Díaz

Born in Colombia, Zoraida Diaz emigrated at a young age to the United States, where she studied Literature in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Maryland. In the late 1980s and 1990s, she documented the main actors in the Colombian armed conflict and captured moments of endless violence inherited from generation to generation. She covered Latin America for the Reuters News Picture Agency for over 10 years. She lives and works in Baltimore, USA.
